ratchet—slut: this is my great aunt Helen. she was such a beautiful woman, i loved her so much and still love her so much, and will continue to love her for the rest of my life. she died of a few different types of cancers of the breast, brain and blood. she struggled a battle for a whole year and died with a strong heart. I’ll always remember her for her hilarious stories about her and her brothers sneaking into farms and jumping off the roofs of barns into big stacks of hay, and her hilariously wheezy laugh, the little sags and wrinkles on her face, and through everything; she was always smiling. when i have a bad day i always say to myself “what would Helen do?” and i just wipe the tears, smile and put my chin up. there’s so better way of hiding your sorrows than smiling as she always said. Rest in peace Helen, god bless xx <3 :’(
